We published two class-leading studies on Lute-gen® with improvements in visual health and cognitive function. Following this, Lute-gen® was selected as the winner of the NutraIngredients-Asia Awards 2022 under the category, Ingredient of the Year – Healthy Aging!

Lute-gen® was also selected as a finalist in the NutraIngredients-USA Awards 2022. It was a fantastic year for this lutein-zeaxanthin complex as its presence in the global market soared, particularly for use in functional gummies.

We launched CaroRite™, our clinically-proven Natural Mixed Carotenoid Complex, with a huge potential for improving quality of life.
RESEARCH & PUBLICATIONS
We published our first study on TruBeet® (Beetroot Extract) and entered a multi-year partnership with Loughborough University, UK, to continue research on this wonder-ingredient on exercise performance and cardiovascular health.
THOUGHT LEADERSHIP ENGAGEMENTS
Saif Mehkri, Founder & Director of Bio-gen Extracts, was invited as a speaker to present the topic, “Roadmap to Successful Entrepreneurship” at the ‘Pharmaceutical Industry – Academia Conclave’ organized by The Indian Pharmaceutical Association in partnership with Karnataka Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Manufacturers’ Association and Faculty of Pharmacy, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences on 9th April 2022.
Salman Mehkri presented Bio-gen Extracts’ formula on ‘Harvesting the Power of Innovation’ that emphasized on the importance of supply chain traceability, manufacturing & quality excellence, scientific evidence & claims, innovation in delivery formats and open innovation at the Nutrify C-Suite Summit 2022, held on June 17, 2022 at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai.
