Endocannabinoids, the endogenous compounds and a part of the endocannabinoid system (ECS) play a crucial role in regulating various physiological processes, including modulation of pain signals. Several studies have suggested that endocannabinoids possess analgesic, anti-inflammatory & neuroprotective effects.
